Over the weekend, all eyes were on Fantasia as she took the stage to receive a lifetime achievement award at the 2024 UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball – Charlotte. The event, held at the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina, was a celebration of talent and excellence.
After the ceremony, the 39-year-old actress took to social media to share a glimpse of her stunning outfit. In some of the photos, Fantasia and her husband, Kendall Taylor, can be seen posing together, radiating elegance and style.
The goal of the UNCF Mayor’s Basket Ball is to raise awareness of the importance of higher education and support Black colleges and universities in North Carolina. This year’s event marked its 10th anniversary, and Fantasia was among the distinguished guests who received special honours.
Fantasia wore a brown sleeveless mermaid tulle dress with a plunging back, accessorized with stud earrings, a statement gold necklace, bracelets, and a ring. Her signature score cap completed her glamorous look, while her husband looked sharp in a black tuxedo, T-shirt, bowtie, and glasses.
Fantasia’s achievement is testament to the fact that age is just a number when it comes to making a positive impact in society.
