A woman crossing the road on Wednesday evening was crushed by a truck on SH 88 of Mokhtiyarpur Salkhani from Dalsinghsarai police station in Samastipur district. As a result, the woman died on the spot.

The deceased was identified as a resident of ward number 4 of Mukhtarpur Salhani.
