The court granted bail to 3 accused arrested in the case of an attack on a woman in the Achhra area of Lahore, while 2 were declared innocent.
The Lahore anti-terrorism court approved the bail of the accused in the Achhra incident, Al-Tamish, Nadeem and Adil. Aleemuddin and Khalid Sheshanshah, named accused in the case, were also declared not guilty.
Lahore, the unsung hero who saved the woman’s life in the Achhra incident
It should be noted that last month in Achrah the angry mob tried to harass a woman who came to the market by accusing her of blasphemy for wearing a dress with Arabic letters on it. The police and local people saved the woman’s life by taking timely action.
Later, a case was registered against the angry mob that harassed the woman. On March 19, the Lahore anti-terrorism court approved the 3-day physical remand of the 4 accused involved in the case.
