A case of fake training suits being sold has come to light in the country’s largest central paramilitary force ‘CRPF’. Training suits are being sold without permission at the Family Welfare Center run by the CRPF Women’s Welfare Association ‘CWA’ at the Force’s Group Center in Noida. A force officer, in his written complaint to the CWA President and DIG Group Center, alleged that the training suits are being sold at high prices. Not only that, the name of a reputed brand is written on the suit. The policeman claims that this tracksuit is fake. This matter should be investigated in depth.
According to sources, Assistant Force Commander Rahul Solanki has sent a copy of his complaint to the Regional CWA, GC Noida, IG Vigilance, DIG Welfare and DIG Greater Noida. It was said that tracksuits are being sold without approval at the Family Welfare Center. According to the rules, the Family Welfare Center does not have the right to trade. This is an institution for the welfare of soldiers and their families. It is claimed that some people associated with this sell sweat suits to soldiers. This tracksuit is not part of the power uniform. It turned out that the training suits were forcibly sold to the soldiers at exorbitant prices.
It is written in the complaint that this case violated the high ideals of the force. The financial security of the soldiers was compromised. Strict measures should be taken in this regard. The sale of fake training suits at the CWA center damages the image of the force. ‘Country uniform’ is written on the training suit package. A promissory note for 1600 rupees was attached with the complaint. In another letter written to the DIG in this regard, it was said that this matter is serious. A complaint will also be filed in the consumer forum. Counterfeit tracksuits are sold under reputable brand names.
The rule is that only those products that are produced by the members of the center themselves can be sold in the CWA center. Tracksuits are not manufactured in the center. Many questions arise in this regard. First, who gave permission to sell sports suits at the CWA center. There is a rule to run the CWA center at the group center under the supervision of the wife of the DIG there. That is, any goods can be sold in the center only with the approval of the CWA GC chairman.
