Bhaskar News Goddess Jhumkeshwari was worshiped in the form of Mother Shakti during Ghat-Paat ritual related to Chaitra Chhau Mahotsav festival by Seraikela district administration on Tuesday. In which Sub Divisional Officer Sunil Kumar Prajapati himself performed the ancient traditions by sitting in the puja as a host. Like every year, this year also Shiva and Shakti are worshiped by the district administration before the Chaitra Chhau Mahotsav festival. Recently, a Bhairav​​​​​​Puja dedicated to Lord Shiva was organized. Jhumkeshwari was worshiped in the form of Mother Shakti on Tuesday. Hundreds of devotees attend the puja every year and receive the prasad. This year also Prasad distribution program started at 2 pm. In which hundreds of rituals sat together and took the prasad. According to tradition, the sub-divisional officer Mata reached the Jhumkeshwari Peeth on the banks of the Kharkai river and offered prayers. Ranjit Kumar Acharya, former director of art center Tapan Kumar Patnaik and other artists were present in the program as coordinator.
