The district administration is fully prepared to make the Lok Sabha elections in Chatra parliamentary constituency to be held on 20 May 100 percent successful. Under the leadership of District Electoral Officer cum DC Ramesh Gholap, senior officials of the district are running public awareness campaigns continuously in various blocks to make the voters aware of voting.

Under this campaign, the district administration now maintains the breadth of the Electoral Commission.
