Violinist Minoti Khaund receives Sangeet Natak Academy Amrit award Achi-News

Guwahati: Renowned violinist Minoti Khaund has been awarded the prestigious Sangeet Natak Academy Amrit Award by the Office of the Vice President of India at Mauna Bhattigarh Cherieli, Guwahati on April 9.

A plaque was awarded to her by the Ministry of Culture of the Central Government for her contribution to Hindustani instrumental music (violin).

The award delegation, led by Sangeet Natak Academy secretary Raju Das and board member Pranjal Saikia, along with Dulal Roy and officials, was accompanied by friends, family members and students from various places.

Haund’s daughter and student, Sunita Haund Bhuyan, expressed her gratitude and pride to her mother on this momentous occasion.
