Ratlam Congress has suffered a major setback ahead of Lok Sabha elections 2024. Ratlam District Congress Committee President Kailash Patel has resigned from the main membership of the Congress. He joined BJP with former CM Dr Mohan Yadav, who came to Ujjain on Wednesday morning.

Patel resigned from the Congress state a day earlier on April 9.
