RJD has 26 seats in the grand alliance. Out of these, RJD is giving three seats to Mukesh Sahani’s VIP. These seats are Gopalganj, Jhanjharpur and Motihari. Out of the remaining 23 seats, RJD announced the names of candidates for 22 seats except one seat of Sivan on late Tuesday night.
Lalu Prasad was heavily criticized for constantly distributing symbols and not announcing the names of candidates while CPI, CPM and MLA announced the names of candidates. Socialist leader Devendra Prasad Yadav, saddened by her rejection of the ticket from Janjharpur, wrote a letter to Lalu Prasad raising questions about his work style.

The Congress got nine seats in the grand alliance, but so far it has been able to announce the names of only three. Tariq Anwar from Katihar, Mohd from Kishanj. Javed and Ajit Sharma from Bagalpur. Congress state president’s son Akhilesh Prasad Singh is also known to be in the race for the ticket from Motihari seat.
Congress seems to be under the influence of Lalu Prasad, due to which there was a lot of political war between Congress state president Akhilesh Prasad Singh and Congress Legislature Party leader Dr Shakeel Ahmed Khan. Amid all this, former Congress President Anil Sharma and Speaker Asit Nath Tiwari left the members of Congress.

Anand’s Ritu Jaiswal and the charming RJD come face to face in Shivbar
Shivhar seat is hot because JDU has fielded Bahubali Anand Mohan’s wife Lovely Anand from here, Lalu Prasad has fielded social activist and RJD women’s cell president Ritu Jaiswal from here.

The Gaya seat is hot because former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi’s reputation is at stake. He lost the Lok Sabha elections here three times. RJD has fielded former Bihar government minister Kumar Sarbjit Paswan. Sarvjeet’s father was a member of parliament and he was murdered during the election campaign.

Purnia is hot because of Papo Yadav
The contest for the Purnia seat is going to be interesting because despite joining the Congress in full force, the Congress has not been able to get Pappu Yadav a ticket from Purnia. Lalu Prasad hence symbolized Bima Bharti. Santosh Kumar is in the fray from JDU.
Shivchandra Ram Sadhe vs. Chirag Bhajipur
There was a lot of conflict between uncle Pashupati Paras and nephew Shirag Paswan over the Hajipur seat. Chirag Paswan’s prestige was tied here, he fought with LJP (Ram Vilas) while RJD fielded Shivchandra Ram.
