Janasena spokesperson Pothina Mahesh recently went on a hunger strike demanding that the Vijayawada West Janasena ticket be given to him. In Vijayawada, he sat in Diksha with his supporters.
Mahesh, who died during the hunger strike, said it was fair to hand over the Vijayawada West ticket to him as part of the alliance. He said he had worked very hard in the constituency for the past five years. He said that along with him, Janasena ranks and supporters are also struggling. He said he knew every atom in the constituency.
Potina said that due to their struggle, Vellampalli Srinivas, who is here, has been sent to another constituency. He said that if a party other than Jana Sena gets a ticket… it will not be possible to win against YCP. He said that he is confident that his leader Pawan Kalyan will give him the ticket. He said that he increased his aggression because Pawan told him that his name would be in the second list.
