Zendaya says she is very proud of Tom Holland as she talks about her relationship with him in a new interview with ‘Vogue’ and ‘British Vogue’.

Zendaya has offered some rare comments about her boyfriend Tom Holland. In a joint interview with Vogue and British Vogue, the “Challengers” star praised her “Spider-Man: Homecoming” co-star for how she handled things after the film’s release in 2017.

“We were both very, very young, but my career was already kind of going, and it changed overnight. One day you’re a kid and you’re in the pub with your friends, and then the next day you’re Spider-Man,” he said. “I definitely watched his life kind of change in front of him. But he handled it very beautifully.”

Next up for Holland is involved in the West End production in London of “Romeo and Juliet,” scheduled for May. Zendaya said she “couldn’t be more proud.”

“I’m going to try and see as many shows as I can,” he added.

Although the pair have been linked for years, they are quite private about their relationship.

It seems that only made them more interested, based on a story Zendaya shared about a time when they were both in Paris and wanted to visit the famous Louvre.

According to the “Euphoria” star, they were warned against it and said “He’s already busy. You might make it worse.” They went anyway, he said, and photos of them taking the exhibits were doing the rounds on social media.

“It was actually fine,” Zendaya recalled. “You get used to the fact that, Oh, I’m also one of these pieces of art that you’re going to photograph. I just have to be totally cool with it and live my life.”

And fame can have its benefits. Zendaya said the museum actually allows them to stay after closing.

“It was one of the coolest experiences ever,” he said. “It was like ‘Night at the Museum.'”

Zendaya also spoke about how she wouldn’t want her future children to go through the spotlight effect. “I don’t necessarily want my kids to have to deal with this,” the Disney Channel alum says of fame compromising her ability to live a normal, private life. “(I ask myself), what does my future look like? Am I going to be a public-facing person forever?”
