Nobel Prize-winning scientist Peter Higgs has died aged 94. He is best known for discovering the God particle, which helped explain how the universe was created after the Big Bang. They jointly received the Nobel Prize in Physics for the Higgs-Boson theory. Confirming the death, the University of Scotland said he died at home on Monday, April 8 due to a minor illness.
