Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said that the election of Maryam Nawaz as the first woman Chief Minister of Punjab is a milestone.
There was a meeting between the Punjab Chief Minister and the Finance Minister in Lahore, on this occasion Muhammad Aurangzeb congratulated the Punjab Chief Minister on assuming the post. He said that together we will get Pakistan out of economic difficulties.

Maryam Nawaz further said that people friendly decisions are expected from the Federal Finance Minister for economic improvement. The Punjab Chief Minister also expressed his best wishes to Muhammad Aurangzeb on assuming the portfolio of the Finance Ministry.
During the meeting, Muhammad Aurangzeb said that the social welfare initiatives of the Punjab Chief Minister are very good.
Provincial Finance Minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman, Provincial Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, former Senator Pervez Rasheed were also present on this occasion.
