The Kerala Catholic Youth Movement (KCYM) units associated with Thalassery Mahadharma District and Thamarassery District said they will hold a screening of the film “Kerala Story”.
Two KCYM units from North Kerala said through social media posts that the film The Kerala Store was not banned. They also congratulated the students of grades 10, 11, 12 for showing this. It was also written in one of the posts that this film will be shown in all units of KCYM in the Diocese of Tamarasri.

After the screening of the film, Idukki’s media officer, Father Jins Karkat, said that the film was shown to create awareness about love relationships and their consequences and dangers. He also announced that every year after the school holidays, a three-day training camp is held where information is given on specific topics. This time the topic was love relationships.
