Some matters need to be settled – at the High Court
When examining the documents submitted by the Enforcement Directorate, the court said that Yitzhak would have to settle certain issues. The court fixed a hearing on May 22 on the petitions filed by ISAC and the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund (KIIFB) regarding the investigation of the case by the Enforcement Directorate.
ED has issued summons
Earlier on April 22, Isaac approached the court regarding the summons to the ED but the court rejected the petition. As soon as the former finance minister received the new summons, he filed a petition with the court. The Enforcement Directorate has issued a summons for investigation in a FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) case related to the investigation of alleged violations in KIIFB’s financial transactions during his tenure as Finance Minister.
