Anil K Antony, son of senior Congress leader AK Antony, joined BJP. In this Lok Sabha election, he has contested as BJP candidate from Pattanamthitta constituency in Kerala. AK Antony has broken his silence about this after many days. By saying that my son should not win for any reason, the candidate contesting in Congress should win the loyalty of the party.

The first phase of the elections will begin on April 19, and the final phase of the 7th phase will be held on June 1. The election results will be out on June 4. Voting for 102 constituencies in the first phase will be on April 19 Voting will be held on April 26 for 89 constituencies in the second phase, 94 constituencies in the third phase, 96 in the fourth phase, 49 in the fifth phase, 57 in the sixth phase and 57 in the seventh phase.
