Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will on April 14 begin discussions on the features of the project in Washington.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, he said that the inflation will gradually decrease, he had a very positive meeting with Muhammad bin Salman, he reiterated that he will visit Pakistan extensively in the form of investment.
He expressed hope that the drop in inflation is expected to lower the policy rate, he said that whatever happens in the federation, it will be done in consultation with the states.

It should be noted that on March 29, Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said that we want to sign a staff level agreement for a new program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) by June to stabilize the economy.
He said that we signed a staff level agreement with the IMF a few days ago which was very important to ensure macroeconomic stability and keeping this in mind we have committed to a long term program with the IMF. Following a request to hold and the IMF responded positively, discussions will be held with the IMF on April 14 and 15.
