According to sources, a combing operation was carried out by a special team of the Railway Security Force in some important stations and trains of the North Central Railway. And in that search, a number of contraband items including gold, silver and cash were seized.
According to railway sources, a search operation was conducted in all stations and trains in Uttar Pradesh between March and April 4, 2024. And in this raid, 18 lakhs in cash, 11 lakhs worth of gold and silver and other contraband were seized. Apart from this, gold and silver worth around 27 lakh rupees and around 85 lakh rupees were also recovered from Madhya Pradesh.
