Achi news desk-News in Bhaskar Belhar Belhar police led by SI Gautam Kumar arrested a liquor seller along with a motorcycle and 16 liters of illegal country-made liquor. He filed a case against the liquor vendor who was arrested under the Bihar Central Prohibition Act and sent him to Banka jail in judicial custody on Monday. In the FIR filed, he said that he went on an evening patrol along with other police forces of the police station. Once they reached Ghogha village, they got information that a person was going towards Garhi village with liquor on a black Passion Pro motorcycle. When he informed the head of the police station about the information received, he confirmed the information and took the necessary actions, when he arrived near the Garhi canal bridge, he saw that a man had been caught by the Tiger mobile police and was being held in custody. When he asked the name and address of the above mentioned person, he told his name as Police Station Pramod Bhagat Ghar Dolband Belhar. Subsequently, a search of the trunk of his black motorcycle with registration number BR 08 D 7568 revealed 16 polythenes of one liter each white in color tied with polythene, making a total of 16 liters of illegal liquor in the country. The motorcycle was then confiscated and the liquor seller was arrested and brought to the police station.
