Ujjain. Mahakal Temple Four priests, who were severely burnt in the raging fire during the Aarti, have been referred to Indore for treatment. After the incident, the doctors reached Ujjain District Hospital late. There was anger among the people because of this. 14 people including priests, pandas and servants were burnt in the fire in the temple. After the accident, the process of entry of visitors to the Mahakal temple continues. In any case, devotees are not allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum of Mahakal at this time.

After the accident, a situation of chaos was created in the Mahakal temple. It is worth noting that a fire broke out in the Jyotirlinga Mahakal temple during the Bhasma Aarti on Monday morning. All injured were taken to the area hospital. Some people from here have been directed to Indore. According to Collector Neeraj Singh, everyone’s condition is out of danger.

Gulal was blown and fire was burning
As usual, Bhasma Aarti was performed at the Mahakal temple early on Monday. Because of Holi, after the make-up, gulal was flown in the sanctum sanctorum and just outside it. During this time the fire raged. It is said that the fire broke out due to the presence of chemicals in the Gulal. Flakes were also placed to protect the sanctum sanctorum wall from gulal. This also caught fire. The fire was brought under control with firefighters. Priests and servants named Satyanarayan, Chintaman, Ramesh, Ansh, Shubham, Vikas, Mahesh, Manoj, Sanjay, Anand, Sonu and Rajkumar were burnt in the incident.
Priest angry because doctors arrive late
After the incident, all the burnt people were taken to the district hospital. Although the doctor was not there. The priests became angry when the doctors arrived late. The authorities were immediately called. As soon as information about the incident was received, Collector Neeraj Singh and SP Pradeep Sharma also reached the spot. Later four priests were referred to Indore Aurobindo Hospital.

The Committee will investigate
Collector Neeraj Singh said that all the people who have been burnt are being treated better. Everyone’s condition is out of danger. A committee has been formed to investigate how the fire started.
