Glasgow shopping center joins All Saints and new restaurant Achi-News

French-Scottish themed restaurant Maison by Glasgow will take over a unit on the second floor terrace formerly occupied by the Restaurant Bar and Grill.

The new bar and restaurant is due to open this spring “serving the best of Scottish produce in a more relaxed brasserie setting” according to owners, Superlative Restaurant Collection.

AllSaints fashion retailer at relocated from their Buchanan Street site to the first floor of the centre.

Hairdressing brand Bloom will also be relocating from their current address in the former GPO building on Hanover Street, taking over the unit formerly owned by Vidal Sassoon.

Celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton announced the company will be working together last year to offer appointments to Glasgow clients.

It was announced in February that Prince’s Square had been bought by commercial property and investment company M Core, with the company promising to attract new names to the centre, which was once voted Scotland’s best building in the last 100 years.

The price paid has not been disclosed.

M Core is a combination of investment and property management companies that include LCP, Sheet Anchor, Evolve Estates and Proudreed.

Plans for landmark shopping center revealed

The group of businesses has a portfolio of assets worth £5.3 billion and employs almost 500 people across Europe. LCP was appointed to manage Prince’s Square.

Roddy Proudfoot, Director – Head of Scotland for LCP, said: “We are delighted to have secured three new tenants for Prince’s Square.

“Since completing our purchase in February, we’ve been working with AllSaints, Bloom Salon, and Maison by Glasgow to bring them to Princes Square and it’s great that they’re all opening this spring.

“It is very exciting to have a high-quality salon back in the Square; AllSaints is a great complement to our existing fashion brands and Maison by Glasgow is an exciting addition to our collection of restaurants.”

Sheona Forrest of Bloom Salon said: “We are delighted to be opening Bloom Salon in Prince’s Square. It is a beautiful space and will suit our guests and the team are very excited about the move.”

Frankie Mallinson, Global Retail Director, AllSaints, said the company was “excited” to open two new stores in Glasgow in Princes Square and Silverburn.

Prince’s Square opened in its current format as a shopping and dining destination in 1988. It has undergone a £7.5 million refurbishment.

The five-storey, grade B-listed building, which dates back to the 1840s, was recognized in 2016 as Scotland’s best building of the last century by the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, which M Core declared its have added “historical significance” to his. portfolio expansion.
