The police have arrested seven smugglers with 14 kg of ganja in Neoghar. SP Rakesh Ranjan had received confidential information that some smugglers were bringing ganja in a Swift Dezire car from Dumka area on Deoghar-Dumka main road. Meanwhile, late on Sunday evening, vehicles coming from Dumka were being checked near Chaupamod from Mohanpur police station area. Meanwhile, a vehicle was coming towards Dumka. Seeing the police checking, the driver turned the vehicle again and tried to run away towards Dumka. On suspicion, the armed forces personnel who were with the company caught all four people in the car. When the vehicle was searched, ganja was found in it. The arrested people said that their three companions were coming to Deoghar by rail. He must have just got off at Ghoramara railway station. They also have ganja. At the request of the four arrested, their three companions were seen near Ghoramara market. During this time, seeing the police, all the smugglers started running away. The police chased everyone away and caught them. The bags of these people were searched. Then illegal ganja was recovered from them. In this way the police managed to recover a total of 14 kg of ganja.
