In Motihari, 14 houses were burnt to ashes in a fire incident in two different block areas. After receiving information about the arson, the fire brigade arrived at the scene and the fire was brought under control with the help of the villagers. The second incident took place in Padumkar village in Pathi police station area, where the houses of seven people were burnt to ashes along with property worth eight lakhs.
Phula Devi, Jailsa Devi, Hiraman Mahato, Kamod were among the victims of the fire.
