NEW DELHI: Election strategist Prashant Kishor has predicted that the BJP will emerge as the dominant party in TMC-ruled West Bengal in this Lok Sabha election. Prashant Kishore, who worked for the Trinamool Congress in the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, was able to strategize for Mamata Banerjee to become the CM again. Now it is surprising that he himself said that BJP would win more seats by overtaking TMC in Lok Sabha elections.
The BJP’s battle in the East, the South

He estimated that the saffron party will see the fruits of their hard work this time. The BJP also emerges as the largest party in Odisha. But Prashant Kishore emphasized that the opposition has lost its chance to reverse it, and the BJP will win most of its seats in the northern and western regions of the country. Telangana, Odisha, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar and Kerala have 204 seats in the 543 member Lok Sabha. But in 2014 or 2019 BJP could not cross the 50 seat mark in these states. This time also we cannot expect much, but we can say that there will be some hope for the BJP.
They are not doing what Modi and Shah are doing
Top party leaders, including Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, visit these states frequently to strengthen the BJP’s strength in the eastern and southern states. But opposition leaders did not make any effort in BJP strongholds, Prashant Kishore criticized.
INDI has no face, no agenda
Talking about the opposition parties coming together to form the INDI faction, he said that the alliance was not effective. BJP is winning because parties like Congress, Samajwadi Party, RJD, NCP and Trinamool Congress cannot face BJP on their own ground. He said the opposition coalition has no face or agenda.
