Former Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam alleged that Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut is the mastermind of the Hichdi scam in Maharashtra. In a press conference, Sanjay Nirupam said that “Today is April 8 and today ED has sent a summon to Lok Sabha candidate (Amul Kirtikar) “Khichdi Chur” from North West Mumbai of Shiv Sena (UBT). All the people of North West Mumbai Lok Sabha should know how dishonest a person their candidate is. When I started working on this scam, I came to know that the mastermind of this scam was someone else. The mastermind of all this scam He is Shiv Sena UBT spokesperson Sanjay Raut.He took bribe in the name of his daughter, brother and partner…he took bribe through check in his daughter’s name, while his daughter Vidhita may not even know about it.

Amul Kirtikar appeared before A.D

The Hichdi scam that took place in Maharashtra during the Corona pandemic is being investigated by ED. In this scam, ED has sent summons to Shiv Sena UBT leader Amul Kirtikar and called him for questioning. Kirtikar was interrogated by the ED for about eight hours. Kirtikar, the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena’s candidate from Mumbai’s North West Lok Sabha seat, appeared before the agency at its office in South Mumbai around 11:30 am. He left the ED office after 7:00 p.m. Kirtikar, while talking to the media, claimed that he answered all the questions asked by the ED personnel. “I submitted all the documents and answered all the questions asked by them,” he said.

The Khichdi scam is linked to irregularities in the contract to distribute Khichdi to migrant workers during the Corona epidemic. This alleged fraud took place during the Mahavikas Aghadi government, where the Economic Offenses Wing registered a case against several Shiv Sena UBT leaders, including Sanjay Raut’s associate Sujit Patkar and Sunil Kadam, in a Rs 6.37 crore fraud. Sanjay Raut’s partner’s company was awarded the contract to distribute Khichdi during the Corona pandemic.
