Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, during an event in Tamil Nadu, said regarding triple talaq that he will not allow atrocities against women belonging to any religion. Regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), he said that no one will lose their citizenship because of this law. Referring to DMK and Congress, Rajnath Singh said that DMK and Congress work for their families, while PM Modi works for the country. Rajnath Singh also held a road show in Tamil Nadu.

Rajnath Singh held a road show in Kirabur campaigning for the party’s Namkal seat candidate KP Ramalingam. After that, Rajnath Singh will campaign for party candidate SGM Ramesh on the Thirivar seat. In the evening, Rajnath Singh met the BJP candidate B in Tankashi. Will do a road show in support of John Pandian. Apart from Rajnath Singh, Union Ministers Anurag Thakur and Purushottam Rupala will also campaign for the party in Tamil Nadu today.
“No Indian will lose citizenship because of CAA”
The Defense Minister said that with the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act, no Indian citizen will lose his citizenship, regardless of religion. He alleged that the opposition Congress and DMK were creating confusion on the issue. Addressing a road show in Namkal in support of party candidate KP Ramalingam, he said the BJP has always fulfilled its promises. The party promised to build Ram temple in Ayodhya, remove Article 370 and implement CAA.
