Fintech company BharatPe is learned to have rejected senior management at its payment and lending unit vertical, according to sources. The company has promoted its Chief Business Officer of banking and alliance Sandeep Indurkar as CEO of payments vertical – Resilient Payments Pvt Ltd.
BharatPe’s Zillion CEO – formerly Payback India – Rijish Raghavan will now handle the company’s device business. The company’s head of vertical lending Kohinoor Biswas will handle Zillion in place of Raghavan.
All three will report to BharatPe’s Chief Fire Officer and interim CEO Nalin Negi.

There has been no change in the merchant app vertical.
The company has seen an improvement in business with a 182 per cent year-on-year increase in revenue from operations to Rs 904 crore in FY23, while loss before tax declined to Rs 886 crore from Rs 5,594 crore during the period.
Significant progress has been made in reducing loss before tax, from Rs 5,594 crore to Rs 886 crore, according to the company.
BharatPe reported its first operating profit in October 2023.
