Union Minister Shanatnu Thakur claimed that Shekar-e-Taiba had sent a threatening letter. It is written in the letter that if NRC is done in Bengal then Thakurbari of Matua will be blown up. All members of Thakurbari will be killed. The union minister claimed that this is what is written in the letter. The sender claimed to have received the letter in the mail around 2:00 PM on Monday afternoon. The Union Minister also attacked the ruling party in the country in this regard. However, Trinamool said Shantanu is lying to get ‘sympathy votes’ before the Lok Sabha.
It is worth noting that the letter sent to Shantano on behalf of the terrorist organization active in Pakistan was reportedly written in the Bengali language. The letter written in Bengali reads, Shantanubabu I hope you are well. Let me tell you that if NRC is done in West Bengal and there are atrocities on Muslims due to NRC, then West Bengal and entire India will be on fire. Your Thakurbari will explode. No man from Thakurbury will be left alive. Have you heard the name of Lashkar-e-Taiba? We are members of Lashkar-e-Taiba.
The Union Minister himself published the threat letter sent to him on behalf of a terrorist organization. According to the letter, the threat letter was sent from Dipur Daganga village in North 24 Parganas. The letter was sent by two people named Nazrul Islam Sahib Ali and Fajr Ali.
