Bhaskar News Ahead of the Janjgir Lok Sabha Elections, a combing patrol was carried out by the police of all the police station areas of the district on the night of April 6 to keep an eye on the criminals and curb the crimes. During this period, the defendants who were previously involved in crimes related to property were also checked whether they were in their homes or not. Apart from that, hotels, dhabas, lodges, train stations were checked and suspicious people found in these places were also investigated. Under the direction of SP Vivek Shukla, an eye is kept on maintaining peace and order in the district during the Lok Sabha elections and the accused who have been involved in various types of crimes in the past. During arrests of Arabs, a list of adulterers is also compiled. Similarly, the police patrolled the comb on the night of April 6. During this period, the police team searched hotels, dhabas, hostels, railway stations and bus stands etc. across the district and also interrogated the suspected persons. According to the police, 105 defendants who were previously involved in property-related offenses were identified in the district. To verify these accused, the police came to their house at night. As a result, 43 people were not found in their homes. The police are now looking for such accused.
