An elderly man died under suspicious circumstances on Sunday in the city’s Kirtinagar Chowki police station area. The elderly man was admitted to the District Civil Hospital for treatment in his injured condition, where the doctors declared him dead after examination. There were injury marks on the old man’s head. At the time of the incident the old man was present in his house with his grandson. After getting information about the incident, Kirtinagar outer police and top CIA officer reached the spot.
