Payment arrangements for 1 billion dollars Eurobonds completed Achi-News

The government has completed the payment arrangements for the $1 billion Eurobonds.

Sources in the Ministry of Finance say that Pakistan has to pay the 10-year Eurobonds in mid-April, the State Bank will pay the Eurobonds as soon as the government orders.

Sources say that after the payment, Pakistan’s Eurobonds debt in the world market will be reduced to 7 billion dollars.

Pakistan has already repaid $1 billion of Eurobonds in December 2023 as well, the loan from the IMF will increase the foreign exchange reserves to more than $8 billion.
