A man was stabbed and thrown into a Montreal hospital, police are investigating Achi-News

The Montreal Police Department (SPVM) is investigating after a man with stab wounds was dropped off at a hospital Sunday morning.

Police responded to a 911 call at 6:20 a.m. and found a 30-year-old man with a “serious upper body injury caused by a sharp weapon,” according to SPVM spokesman Jean-Pierre Brabant.

The authorities no longer fear for his life.

“Investigators are trying to get more information about where and how this stabbing occurred,” Brabant said.

The investigation continues.
