Karachi: BankIslami recently organized an Iftar dinner at Dar-ul-Sukun, extending its warmth to differently-abled children and senior citizens. This event, held in the month of Ramadan, highlighted the bank’s unwavering dedication to fostering joy and inclusion, the press release said.
The event included lively activities, such as henna application, face painting, a jumping castle and distribution of Eid gifts. These activities brought smiles to everyone’s faces, and promoted a sense of community and togetherness. The event was also attended by the senior management of JS Bank and BankIslami Pakistan.
On this occasion, the Deputy CEO of Islamic Bank Imran Helm Sheikh said: “We are humbled to have the opportunity to host this event and spread happiness among these amazing people.”
According to him, “This event serves as a reflection of our company’s values, emphasizing the importance of compassion and active involvement in the community. We will continue to have a positive impact on the community through such significant initiatives.”
At the event, JS Bank CEO Basir Shamsi emphasized: “JS Bank and BankIslami lead such activities, we aimed to spend time with children and senior citizens, celebrate their moments and give them sweet memories.”
Shamsi emphasized the importance of brotherhood taught by Ramadan, bringing everyone closer and also appreciated the management of Dar-ul-Sukun.
In recognition of the community support of Dar-ul-Sukun, JS Bank and BankIslami presented Magen Lesbio Fareira – CEO of Dar-ul-Sukun, and also made a generous financial donation to the organization.
