Rawalpindi (Newsdesk) A terrible fire broke out in a storage of LPG cylinders in Gulzar Quaid Nawaz Colony, Thana Airport area of ​​Rawalpindi, when the cylinders continued to burst with explosions.

Due to the severity of the fire and the explosions, announcements were also made by the nearby mosque for help to put out the fire. One person was burnt and injured while a three-storey building was also severely damaged and two motorbikes were also burnt to ashes.

A sudden fire broke out in the agency of LPG gas cylinders located on the lower floor of a three-storey building in Nawaz Colony police station area near Thana Airport. The cylinders started exploding intermittently with loud explosions.

The footage of the incident also surfaced where a cylinder agency in a densely populated area suddenly catches fire and then intermittent explosions can be heard as the flames rise.

Rescue Firefighters 1122 brought the fire under control and prevented it from spreading further.

Rescue 1122 Spokesman Usman Gujjar said that there were several explosions from LPG gas cylinders after the fire, and one person was injured due to burns, who has been shifted to the hospital after providing first aid.

The building was also damaged by fire and explosions and 2 motorbikes were also burnt to ashes. Rawalpindi police officials said that according to the initial investigation, the incident occurred due to an electric short circuit, but further investigations are underway.
