New Delhi: The entire country is on the eve of the 18th Lok Sabha Election. But in this context, conspiracies are said to create electoral riots. To support this, piles of SIM cards were found. Officials are shocked to see a large number of SIM cards. Security agencies in Bihar’s Gopalganj have seized a total of 8,774 SIM cards and Nepali currency.

The police and investigative agencies suspect that this huge amount of SIM cards could be part of a conspiracy to create irregularities in the Lok Sabha elections. An investigation is also being carried out that the enemy country China could be behind this.

Chinese handiwork is suspected

According to the information found during the police investigation, the SIM card was brought to Gorakhpur airport by a flight from Delhi. After that, three youths from Malda district in West Bengal, who had arrived from Nepal, got SIM cards at the airport. The entire network operated from Kathmandu, Nepal. So the security agencies are worried that the enemy nation China could be behind this as well.

Details of the event

On April 5, police from Gopalganj’s Kuchaikot police station seized 8,774 SIM cards and 18,000 Nepali currency from a car at the Baltari check point in UP-Bihar. The arrested youth told the police during questioning that the SIM card was being used for cyber fraud.
