Dumka police arrested three people in the arrest of officials.

IS trainee Pranjal Dhandha and Shikaripada Circle Officer Kapil Dev Thakur were held hostage by the villagers for three hours on February 20 in Latakander village, a heavily Naxal-affected and Call Block-affected area of ​​a police station area Shikaripara in Dumka district. The villagers released him after paying a bond. The villagers had given strict instructions to the district administration not to enter the village in the area without asking the village chief.
The case was registered at Shikaripada police station
The IS officer had registered a case at Shikaripada police station on this matter. Two persons accused in this case were arrested by the police from Ludi Pahadi of Shikaripada police station area. One accused was arrested from Shikaripada main market. A total of three accused were arrested by the police and sent to prison. Police are looking for the remaining accused.

In fact, on February 20, the district administration team forcefully entered the Naxal-affected areas to inspect schools and Anganwadi centers. The villagers suspected that the administration of the area had come to investigate the matter of opening the coal block. Because of this, the villagers had held all the officials in the area hostage for three hours.
