This woman named Cecilia Smith, who lives in the McDowell County of the state, has also registered her name in the Guinness World Records for this sport.
This potato plant is said to have been officially recognized as the tallest plant ever.
Cecilia Smith says she planted this powerful and vigorous plant in February 2023 and she thought it would become the tallest plant in the world.
The record was previously held by a 9ft, 4.1in plant in Great Britain.
