An unexpected drama is currently emerging on social media, as an unknown man from East London, Eastern Cape, has reached out to media personality Lerato Kganyago, claiming he is the father of her child.
The man says he is Siyabonga Kopele, and he made his bold claims in a video that quickly went viral on social media platforms. In the video, Kopele, who is surviving on the government’s R350 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant, tearfully pleads for help to see his alleged child and access his claimed assets, including a house and a car. He directly addresses Kganyago, who is known for her DJ work and as a Metro FM presenter, demanding that she confess and give an answer to her situation. Not that he wanted her back, no. He made that clear.
“I need help from anyone. I know they know me. I know the media knows me. I’ve been on TV, and I want them to say they don’t know me and I want them to say it’s not my child…let’s prove it,” Kopele expressed emotionally.

Responding to the allegations, Kganyago took to social media to refute the allegations, and said that she does not know the man and has no children with him or anyone else. She reached out to her followers, urging anyone with information about Kopele to contact her, as she has been facing harassment over her allegations.
As the exchange continued online, Kopele continued in his plea, saying he and Kganyago had previously taken this to court.

Before anyone knew it, a Tweep who claimed to be Kopele’s brother reached out to Kganyago, and revealed that Kopele was suffering from mental health issues, but they didn’t know how bad it was.

All this is happening just after Lerato Kganyago revealed that she has some serious fertility issues. Yikes.
