Batting first in the match played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 183 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs with the help of Virat Kohli’s century. Kohli scored 113 runs in 72 balls with the help of 12 fours and 4 sixes, while Duplessis scored 44 runs in 33 balls.

Chasing a target of 184 runs, the Royals lost the wicket of the successful Jaiswal before opening their account. But captain Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler added 148 runs for the second wicket. Samson scored 69 runs in 42 balls with the help of 8 fours and 2 sixes. Ryan Farag (4) and Drov Jurrell (2) who arrived later joined the booth as quickly as they arrived.

But Josh Buttler, who put in a gutsy performance till the end, found his rhythm for the first time in the tournament and scored an unbeaten century. This is his second century against RCB.
