Burton Fabrill College in Eastleigh worked with Pavilion on the Park on the initiative, which is aimed primarily at older people, adults with learning difficulties and disadvantaged families in the local community.
It comes at a time when the cost of living crisis is putting heavy pressure on people’s finances.
Following their latest endeavours, the College’s Deputy Principal Chris Loveday said: “Burton Fabrill is committed to making a positive contribution to our local community where appropriate and we feel our role extends beyond the academic results of our students.
“Being involved in such an initiative is a real privilege.”
The project is not the first of its kind to come out of Burton Fabrill.
In December, the college teamed up with ManvFat Football and Eastleigh Weight Loss to feed local homeless people, again handing out around 100 meals.
