After the death of a young Punjab farmer Shubhakaran, the farmers who were peacefully protesting at Shambhu and Khanauri border in Haryana-Punjab are now going to intensify their agitation after the arrest of Navdeep Singh. On the call of United Kisan Morcha and Kisan-Labor Morcha, farmers will burn an effigy of the central government by protesting across the country including Haryana-Punjab today on 7 April.

Not only this, the farmers protested against the railway near the Shambhu border on 9 April.
