After Tehsildar Shatrughan Singh Chauhan was accused of sexual harassment in Gwalior, the Gwalior Collector has been immediately dismissed from the post of Tehsildar of the City Center Tehsil. He has been attached to the collector’s office till the investigation is completed. The case of sexual harassment of a Tehsildar has been the focus of discussion throughout the day in the city including the Collector’s office. Various types of information were also received during the day that some of the Tehsildar’s favorite Patwaris are trying to create an atmosphere in their favor by putting pressure on other women workers in this matter. Moreover, some people have also come to meet the woman worker who had been transferred due to the fear of the Tehsildar. However, a meeting of the local complaints committee is going to be held on this matter on Sunday. This four member committee will understand the whole matter on Sunday and decide the direction of the investigation. To prevent the Tehsildar from influencing the investigation while holding office, he has been moved from the city center zone.
