A teacher committed suicide by hanging herself in Peliganj sub-division in Patna. Upon receiving information about the matter, the police team arrived at the scene. The body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem at the sub-division hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Rashmi Rajak, a resident of Rasalpur village in Nalanda.
