Indian Railways not only continuously starts new trains but also gives special attention to the decoration of the railway stations. Railway is going to create many world class stations across the country. Development works began at a faster rate than a thousand stations. These include New Delhi Railway Station.

The railway station of the national capital New Delhi is also being redeveloped. About 350 trains run daily from New Delhi station. Thousands of travelers from all over the country come here. Apart from Shatabdi, Rajdhani trains from all major countries, many super fast trains including Vande Bharat-Tejas Express also operate from this station. New Delhi railway station is important in itself as it is the railway station of the capital of the country. Secondly, the main schemes of the Ministry of Railways are implemented from this station. It is included in all those stations of the country which have connectivity with any major city. Therefore, a separate entry was made at this station for VIPs coming from India and abroad. Representatives of other countries, Union Ministers, MPs and film stars continue to go here. For this reason, special decorations were also made here. Special attention was given to trees, plants and greenery.

A special tree worth lakhs was also planted at this station, which has become the center of discussion these days. This special tree was planted on platform number one of New Delhi station at the end towards Tilak Bridge. The current employee who was taking care of this bed said that its price ranged from 23 to 25 lacs or so. This tree was imported from Thailand. The pattern is made when the plant is small. In this way, gradually its branches take on a net-like shape, which looks very attractive from a distance. For this reason its price is higher than other trees. One liter of protein is given to this special tree every month. The responsibility for the maintenance of these special plants installed at the station rests with the private company. Prem Shankar Jha, Media Advisor to the Directorate of Railways (DRM), Delhi Division, told Amar Ujjale that the Indian Railways is putting a lot of effort into beautifying the railway stations. Arrangements are also being made to increase the greenery around the stations. Therefore, some special bonsai saplings were planted at the VIP gate entrance of the New Delhi Railway Station. We spend Rs 350 per month as maintenance for each plant.
