Ranchi Police have arrested six accused including two opium smugglers from Rajasthan. They were taking around 1600 kg of Doda to Rajasthan in 116 sacks, hiding it under a sack of potatoes in the tailor. Its market price is said to be around Rs 2.70 crore. The arrested accused include kingpin Satbir Singh alias Satpal (resident of Anupgarh, Rajasthan), Ramesh Vishnoi (resident of Phalodi, Jodhpur), Lisa Pahan (Khunti), Tahir (resident of Aliganj, Uttar Pradesh), Praveen Munda and Soma Munda (resident of Oodih of Dasham Fall police station area). The police have also seized Rs 11.50 lakh and an SUV car from them.
