HYDERABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three accused for misappropriating income support scheme funds in Nazir, ARY News reported on Saturday.
The FIA ​​Cyber ​​​​Crime Circle Hyderabad exposed the misuse of Income Assurance Fund with rubber thumbs.
The investigating agency raided retailers in Tando Muhammad Khan district of the Mono-Technical Colleges. The FIA ​​has arrested the accused Shabir Ahmed, Ghulam Abbas and Asif who were involved in the silicone thumb forgery.
The accused have misappropriated hundreds of thousands of rupees from the beneficiaries of the BISP, an FIA spokesperson said.
The FIA ​​recovered three BVS devices, five mobile phones and 44 national identity cards from the accused, the spokesman said.
“Silicone thumbs and cash withdrawal slips were also recovered from the arrested men,” the FIA ​​said.
A case was registered against the accused and an investigation into the case was opened.
