Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has offered Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to join his party for the second time in five days. Uddhav said I am again repeating to Gadkari that he should fight the elections for Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).
Uddhav said at a rally in Pusad in Yavatmal district on Tuesday that Gadkari is being insulted in the BJP. So, they should join our Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance. We will ensure their victory. If our government comes to power, we will also make him a minister.
Uddhav had also given the same offer to Gadkari on March 8. Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis then made fun of him. Fadnavis had said that this proposal was like a man on the street proposing to make someone the President of America.

Uddhav said – the name of a corrupt man is in BJP’s list, but not in Gadkari’s list.
Uddhav had said at a public meeting in Tuljapur on March 8 that the first list of 195 BJP candidates has come. There are other names in it including Narendra Modi, Amit Shah. There is also a name of Kripashankar Singh. He rebelled against the Congress and joined the BJP. It was he who had accused Kripashankar of benami property. The name of a corrupt person like him has appeared in the first list along with the Prime Minister of the country.
Uddhav said – The names of Nitin Gadkari, who worked at the same level as Pramod Mahajan and Gopinath Munde, are not included in the list. Leave it Nitin ji, contest elections on behalf of Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA), we will bring you victory.
Show the courage of Maharashtra, Maharashtra has never bowed down before Delhi. If Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had not bowed before Aurangzeb in Agra, then he will bow before him. I openly call on Nitin Gadkari to resign and contest elections from Mahavikas Aghadi.

Fadnavis called Uddhav’s statement ridiculous
Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis had called this proposal of Uddhav Thackeray ridiculous. He had said that this offer was as if a person in the street had offered someone to become the President of America.
Fadnavis had further said that the Mahayuti was not decided on the seats in the state. When this discussion happens, Nitin ji’s name will come up. Uddhav Thackeray is trying to prove himself big. This is extremely ridiculous.
