Virat Kohli completed 12 thousand runs in T-20 cricket. T-20 cricket includes domestic, international and league cricket. Together they crossed the mark of 12 thousand runs. He became the sixth batsman in the world and the first from India to reach the mark of 12 thousand runs. The record for scoring most runs in T-20 is held by West Indies’ Chris Gayle. He has scored 14,562 runs.
2. Kohli is second among the batsmen who have scored 12 thousand runs in the least number of innings.
Kohli crossed the 12 thousand runs mark in his 360th innings. He was the second fastest batsman to achieve this record. Before him, Chris Gayle had completed 12 thousand runs in 345 innings.
3. Virat completes 1000 runs against CSK
A thousand runs were also completed against Virat Kohli’s CSK. He crossed this record as soon as he scored his 15th run against Chennai, he now has 1006 runs against CSK. Before him, only Shikhar Dhawan could score a thousand runs against Chennai.
