SAM Burgess hopes to hear the Warrington enclave cheering for victory at Headingley, despite having a Leeds accent.
For his fiancee Lucy, Lucy’s family is based in the city and will be in the stands as he walks to the side he cheered for as a childhood fan.
However, when it comes to who they want to win, there is no doubt. Same goes for mum Julie from Australia and brothers, Luke, Thomas and George.
Wolves boss Burgess said: “I love Headingley and there are a lot of good people at Leeds Rhinos, a lot of staff have helped me with tickets as all of Lucy’s family are Leeds.
“I think the whole family are now in the Wire camp but I think they are sitting towards the end of Leeds, hope they all behave themselves!
“And we’re a very loyal family, so I’m sure my siblings will all be happy for Wire.
“I know my mum is and she is the boss, although they have a soft spot for Leeds as Luke played there for a number of years and won a grand final there.”
Burgess stood in what is now the East Stand growing up, roaring Leeds on and idolizing hero Adrian Morley.

And he knows that just like him, the star of the future can watch tonight from the balconies.
He added: “It’s a great club and the stadium looks fantastic now. I’m personally looking forward to going there.

“We were big Leeds fans growing up. We’d sit on the wall by the end of the old scoreboard and sit behind the sticks.
“Moz was my hero, he’s a legend but under the new rules he would have played one game and missed six!
“It’s all a bit of a blur to me, you remember more the atmosphere. It was always a great place to go and I was mad about rugby, so I’m sure there’s the next generation of players there watching.
“You’re likely to see the next set of players who were fans there. It’s a great environment and I always enjoyed going as a kid – but the stadium is a bit grander now.”
