Nia Sharma shot to fame with her amazing performances in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and Jamai Raja.
Nia Sharma, who enthralled the audience with her amazing performances in Baak Hazroon Mein Meri Behna Hai and Jamai Raja, is gearing up to make a grand comeback on television. Recent reports have set the tinsel town abuzz with excitement as the actress is speculated to have bagged a new project titled Suhaagan Chudail. However, the actress is yet to confirm this exciting development.
According to a report by ETimes, a source close to the project announced, “Nia is with us for the show. The fact that she will play the lead role is already a big plus for us. The rest of the casting is now underway. Filming will begin shortly after the actors are locked. The story will revolve around three characters, with a woman trying to save her husband from being captured by Chudail.”
Earlier, in an interview, Nia clarified that despite a two-year hiatus from television projects, she remained actively involved in her career. She explained that although she has not been on TV for two years, she is still busy with other projects such as music videos.
Nia Sharma’s last stint in a fictional series was in Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural drama Naagin 4, which ended its run in 2020. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting her return to the small screen. The news of her relationship with Sohhagan Khodayil created a wave of anticipation among her fans.
Besides her acting prowess, Nia is known for her impeccable fashion sense. The actress regularly treats her followers to glimpses of her style. In a recent snapshot, she dazzled in a striking black dress, accented by a flattering V-neck, sleeveless design and a chic floor-length hemline.
Nia started her acting journey with Star Plus’ Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha where she played the character Anu. However, it was her role as Manvi Chaudhary in Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai opposite Crystal D’Souza, Karan Thacker and Kushal Tandon that gained her widespread recognition. She then played Roshni Patel in Jamai Raja opposite Ravi Dubey. Following this, she joined Ekta Kapoor’s acclaimed supernatural series Naagin 4: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel.
In 2017, Nia made her digital debut with Vikram Bhatt’s web series Twisted, opposite Rrahul Sudhir and Namit Khanna as Alia Mukherjee. She also participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi: Made In India and emerged as the winner.
